Gasolinera is Mexico’s largest refining company and one of the country’s leading energy companies. It is also one of the largest private sector employers in Mexico, with more than 30,000 employees. Gasolinera operates five refineries – in Ciudad Juárez, Chihuahua; Puebla; Tampico; Veracruz and Yucatán – as well as a sales division that markets fuels to distributors across Mexico. It is also a major player in the exploration and production of crude oil and natural gas. In this article, we will explore Gasolinera’s history, present day operations and future prospects. We will also highlight some of its key initiatives and partnerships.

Gasolinera History

Gasoline is popular in Mexico because of its affordable prices. In 1937, Gasolinera became the largest refiner in Mexico. Today, it is one of the largest private companies in Mexico. Gasolinera produces gasoline, kerosene, and diesel fuel. It also manufactures lubricants, additives, and other products for the automotive industry.

Gasolinera has a history of innovation. It was the first company to produce a synthetic motor oil called “Vista.” Vista became a best-selling product in Mexico. Today, Gasolinera is also the producer of “Nexter” synthetic motor oil. Nexter offers improved performance and durability for engines used in commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.

Gasolinera employs over 6,000 people in its facilities throughout Mexico. The company contributes significantly to the Mexican economy by providing jobs and revenue for businesses across the country.

Gasolinera Refining Operations

The company has a refinery in Pemex’ Cortes de Madera plant, located in the central Mexican state of Puebla. Gasolinera also has a refinery located in Tampico, Tamaulipas. The company also operates two gas stations, both in Puebla.

Gasolinera Marketing and Distribution

Gasolinera is Mexico’s largest refining company, with operations in 27 states. The company was formed in 1966 as a joint venture between the state-owned oil monopoly Pemex and the Texaco Company. In 1984, it was privatized and renamed Gasolinera Mexicana.

Gasolinera produces gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, and other petroleum products. It also manufactures lubricants, asphalt, and other chemicals. The company’s products are sold through retail stations throughout Mexico and exported to countries in Latin America, the Caribbean, and North America.

Gasolinera has a capacity of 1.1 million barrels per day (bpd) of crude oil refining capacity and 2.3 million bpd of product production capacity. The company manages more than 574 kilometers of pipelines and has more than 3,500 employees.

Gasolinera Financials

Gasolinera is the largest refining company in Mexico and the third largest in the Latin American region. The company has a portfolio of products that includes unleaded gasoline, diesel, heating oil, aviation fuel, and kerosene. Gasolinera also manufactures petrochemical products. In fiscal year 2016, Gasolinera reported revenues of $14.5 billion and net income of $2.7 billion. The company employs more than 16,000 employees worldwide.

Conclusion

Gasolinera is Mexico’s largest refining company, and it has a long history of contributing to the country’s economic growth. The company provides fuel for automobiles and other industrial uses, and it also produces lubricants, waxes, diesel fuels, gasoline products, and jet fuel. In addition to its operations in Mexico, Gasolinera has subsidiaries in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Peru and Venezuela.

Gasolinera History

Gasolinera: Mexico’s Largest Refining Company

At that time, Standard Oil of California (SOCAL) became involved in the project and helped to set up a number of small refineries throughout central Mexico. By 1938, these refineries had combined production capacity of just over 100,000 barrels per day (bpd).

But it was during World War II that Mexico’s oil industry really took off. In 1943, Mexican President Plutarco Elías Calles nationalized the country’s oil industry and turned it over to the state-owned Petróleos Mexicanos (Pemex). As a result, Pemex was able to increase production significantly and become one of the world’s leading oil producers by 1950.

Today, Gasolinera is Mexico’s largest refining company. With total refining capacity of over 2 million bpd, it is responsible for processing nearly all of Mexico’s crude oil exports. In addition to its core refining operations, Gasolinera also operates several
