Jeff Timmer, son of reality TV personality Jeff Timmer and author of the book “The Unbelievable Truth,” has passed away at 49. According to reports, he died from a suspected suicide.
Born in 1967, Jeff was the youngest of three children born to Jeff and his wife, Lisa. He started working on reality TV shows with his father early and later hosted his show, “The Amazing Race.” After “The Amazing Race” ended in 2006, Jeff wrote a memoir about his family’s involvement in the reality show industry.
In addition to writing, Jeff also had a successful career as an author. His most recent book was reportedly due out soon and focused on parenting.

Jeff Timmer was born on February 4, 1971, in Escondido, California, to father Jeff, and mother Linda. After graduating from high school, Jeff went on to study at Arizona State University but stopped attending classes after only one semester.
In 1993, Jeff tied the knot with reality television star Lisa Whelchel while they were both attending a party in Palm Springs. They had two children together before divorcing in 2003.
Jeff then began a relationship with legal assistant Dana Geffner until 2006. In 2007, he married journalist Heather Dubrow, nine years his senior. The couple has two children together and later divorced in 2018.
He wrote four books, including New York Times bestsellers The Total Money Makeover and More Than Enough, which chronicled his experiences overhauling his finances, as well as seasons of the TV show The Millionaire Matchmaker, which aired from 2004-2014.
Jeff also starred in several reality TV series such as Married At First Sight USA, Ink Master US, I Want To Marry Harry, and Married at First Sight: Australia, which chronicled his marriages to different women.
